Warren and Abbie James head the In Season team and have been doing so since 2006. Their “baby”, the Ballarat Lakeside Farmers Market was their first foray into farmers markets and they have not looked back since. This husband and wife duo live, breathe and “eat” farmers markets. The ever-increasing In Season team has now extended to friends and family who are equally as passionate about farmers markets.

We drive to keep our farmers markets authentic and diverse with superior stallholders and create markets which shoppers have confidence in. You will not find repackaged or resold items, low grade produce, over packaged items, interstate or international products, genetically modified produce or “fake foods”. Instead there is an abundance of fresh seasonal produce, ethically grown and hand made products that are real and taste the way food is supposed to taste. This is our promise to you.

Sustainable living is very important to us. Our decisions of which stallholder attends our markets and what produce we allow all have the environment in mind. In Season Markets are working on making our office and markets carbon neutral. And a good start is our 100% biodegradable jute reusable shopping bags that will soon be at a farmers market near you.
